Privacy policy

1. Who is responsible

This website belongs to Thiago Pires de Azevedo, a psychologist registered with the Regional Council of Psychology under CRP 05/83313, who acts as the controller of any personal data processed here.

2. What this website collects

Almost nothing, by choice. This website:

• sets no cookies of its own;
• uses no audience analytics tools, such as Google Analytics;
• has no forms: you do not type any data here;
• shows no advertising and carries no advertising trackers.

The hosting provider (Vercel) may record technical access data, such as IP address and browser type, in temporary server logs, for security and operational reasons. I do not use those logs to identify visitors.

3. Content embedded from other platforms

The home page displays two panels loaded directly from other platforms: my reviews badge from Doctoralia (Docplanner) and my profile card from It's Complicated. To display them, your browser makes a request to those companies' servers, which means they may register data such as your IP address and browser, under their own privacy policies.

I do not receive any individual data about you from those panels, and I do not use them to track visitors. If you prefer to avoid this, browsing the site with a content blocker or with scripts disabled keeps the rest of the site fully readable.

4. The WhatsApp button

When you tap the contact button, you are taken to WhatsApp, a Meta service with its own privacy policy. The conversation happens there, outside this website. Anything you share with me in that conversation (your name, phone number and what you write) is used solely to answer you and, where relevant, to arrange sessions.

The same applies to the Instagram and Doctoralia links: they are third-party services with their own terms and policies.

5. Data of people in therapy

Information about people who are in therapy with me is protected by a layer that comes before, and is stricter than, the LGPD: the professional confidentiality set out in the Code of Professional Ethics of the Brazilian Federal Council of Psychology. Session records are kept securely, for the period required by the Council's rules, and are never used for promotion or publicity.

6. Your rights

The LGPD gives you, among others, the right to confirm whether I process data about you, to access it, to correct it, to request deletion of anything not subject to mandatory retention, and to withdraw consent. If you live outside Brazil, your own country's data protection law may give you equivalent rights, and I will honour those requests in the same way. To exercise any of them, simply message me on WhatsApp.

7. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this same page, with the update date revised at the top.
